“Flux” is a collaborative installation between local artists, Kristi Swee Kuder and Dar Eckert that draws attention to their interest in the aesthetics of the discarded, and how the material world flows in and out of our lives into an everlasting detritus.
Kuder and Eckert have this to say about their collaborative installation, “Our society is conditioned to consume and ignore the realities of how things come to us and what happens to what we discard. Simultaneously, our work manifests a profound sculptural gesture—one that embodies care and repair, challenging the prevailing ethos of neglect and disposability.”
